OVERVIEW

In this one-day workshop, we'll focus on using data visualization to communicate complex information effectively with beautiful charts, graphs and maps. Students will learn to create dashboards and visualizations using publicly available data to tell stories with interactive graphs, maps, and charts.

Our workshops are fun and personalized in a small class settings and taught by leading experts in the field. This workshop is a day-long certificate course with a hands-on approach that assures you'll be able to apply what you learned right away.

DATA VIZ INSTRUCTOR

Jonathan is the Director of Financial Services practice at RStudio and the author of Reproducible Finance with R: Code Flows and Shiny Apps for Portfolio Management (CRC Press). He writes the Reproducible Finance blog series for RStudio and his code/apps can be seen at www.reproduciblefinance.com.

Prior to joining RStudio, he worked at JP Morgan. He studied international relations at Harvard University and did graduate work in political economy at Emory University.
